Pride on the Plaza Volunteer Sign-Up

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for Pride on the Plaza! This event is powered by community, and volunteers like you are what make it all possible.

Pride on the Plaza will take place on Saturday, October 3rd from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and we’re looking for dedicated individuals to help create a safe, inclusive, and joyful experience for everyone who attends.

Volunteers may assist with event setup, vendor support, guest check-in, set-up and break-down, and event monitors. Whether you’re helping behind the scenes or engaging with the community, your time and energy make a real impact.

Roles

Volunteer Positions

BOOTH MARKING – Arrive on the Plaza to assist in locating and marking Vendor Booths using “sidewalk chalk”. This task will require a lot of bending over.

SET-UP – The Set-Up team will help set up fencing around plaza, set out rented chairs and tables and assist with setting up Pride supplied canopies and booths. They will also assist at vendor entrance location to help direct traffic and assist vendors to unload as needed.

VENDOR SUPPORT – Assist with registration of vendors as they arrive, work with set-up volunteers to help vendors find their booth locations and assist them to move supplies to their spots as needed. Assist vendors with setting up canopies and tables as needed.

TEAR-DOWN/CLEAN UP – Gathering all rented chairs and tables and placing them at the designated spot for pick-up by supplier. Removing and rolling up the temporary fencing materials and assisting with loading of SNMP materials. Clean up all trash and or items left on the Plaza and ensuring that everything properly removed and disposed of.

EVENT MONITOR - Help out during the night checking if trash cans are filling up and making sure everything is running smoothly around the plaza.

FLOATERS – Feel in gaps of what is needed.
